Do you believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and are therefore infallible,
of divine authority in all things pertaining to faith and practice, and therefore free from error?
Do you believe there are three persons in the Godhead – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
and these three are one true, eternal God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory?
Do you believe that no matter how good your works, you can never merit pardon for your sin or the gift of eternal life,
but that Jesus Christ, by the sacrifice of Himself, which He offered to God, has fully satisfied the justice of His Father
and purchased not only your reconciliation, but an everlasting inheritance in the kingdom of heaven?
Do you humbly acknowledge yourself to be a sinner in the sight of God, completely unable to save yourself, and totally
dependent upon His grace for your salvation?
Do you now gratefully resolve to rely upon the grace of God to lead you in a manner worthy of Christ's death, and that you
will endeavor to live a life that is consistent with being a follower of Jesus Christ?
Do you believe that all those in Christ, the Church, are called to maintain fellowship in the worshiping of God, in performing
spiritual service to benefit each other, and in helping each other in their physical and emotional needs as they are able - and do
you promise to support the church in its worship and its fellowship?
Do you promise to submit yourself to the government and discipline of the church, as it follows the direction of Scripture?
